  • President and director since the company’s inception in 1986
  • Has successfully managed the growth of the business from a small start up contractor to one of the largest highway and bridge constructors in Florida with multiple business units
  • Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering with Honors, University of Florida
  • Responsible for the management and supervision of all projects for the de Moya Group, Inc
  • Over 35 years experience with a hands-on approach to directing complex transportation projects in many different construction disciplines
  • Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida, Engineering Contractors Association of South Florida, Florida Transportation Builders Association (Past Director), and National Asphalt Paving Association

Alisa de Moya, Secretary/Treasurer

  • Alisa has been managing the office since the company’s inception in 1986
  • Serves as Secretary/Treasurer,  Director, and is an integral part of the company’s management team
  • Oversees all administrative functions company wide
  • Matriarch of the family business and the hand that has maintained the business operating smoothly for 25 years

Al de Moya, P.E., Vice President and General Superintendent

  • Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, University of Florida
  • Registered Professional Engineer, State of Florida, Reg. No. 36071
  • Over 30 years of experience in highway and bridge construction
  • Directly involved in the construction of over $500 million in projects
  • Responsible for all field operations and production including engineering, scheduling, and quality control for all projects
  • Instrumental in recognizing project issues and providing solutions before impact to project progress
  • Responsibilities include coordination between field and office personnel, allocation of resources to projects, and overseeing projects company-wide
  • Projects include interstate highways and bridges, parks, canals, city roads, drainage improvements and underground utility construction

AJ de Moya, Vice President and General Manager

  • Bachelor of Science, Business Management with Honors, University of Florida
  • 20 years of experience in highway and bridge construction with special expertise in estimating, innovative design concepts, value engineering and cost controls
  • Directly responsible for managing all Design-Build projects from proposal stage to final design
  • Works directly with the design team to develop cost effective plans and serves as liaison between the design and construction functions on the project
  • Highly experienced in managing some of the largest and most complex highway and bridge projects in Florida, such as the SR 826 Palmetto Expressway Interchanges at NW 74th Street and at US 27 (Okeechobee Road)

Christopher de Moya, Project Superintendent

  • 10 years experience in highway and bridge construction

  • FDOT CTQP Certifications (Numerous), ATSSA Certified Advanced MOT, Primavera CPM Certified Scheduler, Troxler Radiation Safety Officer, Troxler Hazmat Certified

Mark Krizner, P.E., Senior Bridge Project Manager/ Bridge Engineer

  • 33 years experience in constructing bridges, tunnels and dams throughout the Eastern US
  • Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, University of Pittsburgh
  • Registered Professional Engineer, State of Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland (Florida pending)
  • Recognized as one of the state’s top bridge builders, with more than 70 bridges completed in Florida including high-level bridges and curved steel and box girders, while working for The de Moya Group, Inc.
  • In charge of the construction of major bridges in Florida including bascule spans, high level bridges over water greater than 1000’, multi-level roadways, and curved steel and box girders
  • Superintendent on the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel and Toll Plaza construction with extensive concrete pavement

Brent Norman, Senior Project Manager and Quality Control Manager

  • Over 12 years experience in managing projects on limited access facilities
  • Masters in Business Administration, University of Central Florida
  • Highly experienced in Project Management and quality control of construction projects in South Florida
  • Directly in charge of day-to-day project operations including having recently completed the $103 Million Turnpike Widening Project in Broward County, which provided for widening 7 miles of the Florida Turnpike, construction of seven bridges, six miles of noise walls, drainage, 685,000 cubic yards of embankment, base and asphalt pavement
  • Has been directly in charge of all work on his projects including maintenance of traffic, roadway, drainage, paving and structures on limited access facilities
  • FDOT CTQP Certifications (Numerous), ATSSA Certified Advanced MOT, Primavera CPM Certified Scheduler
  • Responsible for Quality Control Plans and providing clients with required QC test data and reports

Geoff Ferero, Senior Project Manager

  • Over 13 years experience in highway and bridge construction with special expertise in roadway and drainage construction, equipment utilization, and subcontractor coordination and scheduling
  • Directly supervises roadway crews and manages subcontractors on projects.  Responsibilities include scheduling, material acquisition, quality control, payment requisitions, and production
  • The two most recent projects completed had construction budgets of $71 million and $124 million
  • FDOT CTQP Certifications (Numerous), ATSSA Certified Advanced MOT, Primavera CPM Certified Scheduler, Troxler Radiation Safety Officer, Troxler Hazmat Certified
  • Most recently completed the NW 25th Street Viaduct project which included the 28-span viaduct over existing NW 25th Street.  The project was completed 126 days ahead of schedule

Grant Cool, Senior Project Manager

  • Over fourteen years experience in FDOT highway construction and precast concrete products manufacturing
  • Key skills include precast/ prestressed concrete product design, and production and construction materials quality control management
  • Project Manager and Quality Control Manager on major key projects
  • QC Manager for the $124 million NW 25th Street Viaduct Project
  • Project Manager/ QC Manager for the 4-mile I-95 resurfacing project from NW 6th Street to Powerline Road in Broward County

William Homer, Bridge Superintendent

  • 17 years of bridge construction experience
  • Responsible for multiple bridge crews including erection and demolition of structures, pile driving and concrete crews
  • Lift crane superintendent overseeing all lift crane operations including; rigging and signal person training; crane safety; heavy lift coordinator; crane maintenance and inspections
  • Certified crane operator, rigger and signal person

Victor Suarez, Construction Roadway Superintendent

      • 20 years experience as a Construction Roadway Superintendent working almost exclusively on limited access facilities
      • Substantial experience in drainage, utilities and in directing and implementing major maintenance of traffic switches, detours and road closures on highways throughout South Florida

Kristina de Moya, P.E., Design-Build Project Manager
