This $71 million project included the construction of the SR 826 Interchanges at NW 74th Street and at US 27 in Miami-Dade County. 
The project provided 11 bridges including four structural steel bridges, five pre-stressed concrete girder bridges and two cast-in-place concrete bridges.
The de Moya Group submitted six Value Engineering Change Proposals that were approved by the FDOT and provided substantial project savings.

Project Features:

  • Extensive erosion control and environmental protections for the canal crossings and the adjacent canal for the entire construction duration.
  • Major construction activities included bridge work, pile and bulkhead construction, embankment, paving, lighting, signalization, and signing.
  • The de Moya Group’s project personnel were extremely proficient in resolving constructability, right-of-way, and utility conflicts throughout the duration of the work.
